Description

This is a piece which I have a lot of pride in. It took me a long time to paint in the dust around the stars as well as to get the planet just right. Any hard criticism would be so much appreciated, thanks.

I think that the stars need to have better compostion, the clouds look good but maybe need a bit more definition as the orange glow is obscuring most of it from view... The planets are great though...

I really like this, congratulations on a job well done! Two things I think could improve it:

- the planet in the upper right is too similar, looks like a mirrored, reduced copy. Removing it might make for a stronger composition, or altering the hue could make it more it's own object in the piece.

- the stars could use more clarity. At least on my monitor they are dim and don't spell out the difference between the negative space that holds the stars and the negative space in the planet shadow. The planet's shadow would be more powerful if the stars have more visibility.
